We’ve gone with ordered chapters on this one. This boils down to basically these points:

1. Less encoding time for us (faster releases for you)
2. Less data to download (can’t argue with that)
3. The choice between Karaoke’d/clean versions of the OP/ED
4. The ability to encode different parts of the episode at different bitrates, preserving quality where it’s needed most and cutting down on bitrate in the parts with less movement

The way they work is that you put the OP/ED of your choosing (clean/karaoke) in the same place as the actual episodes, then play the episodes and as long as you’re using a decent media player everything will work like magic. If I’ve been wrong about anything, cryptw or fnord will correct this post.
